2025 Philosophy Undergraduate Reception
Please join us on Thursday, September 4 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm for the Philosophy Undergraduate Reception. The reception will be held in the Crown Center Second Floor Lobby and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations, Dr. Gordon and Dr. Vukov!
The Philosophy Department is thrilled to announce that two department members were recently recognized, alongside other faculty and staff award winners, at University Convocation. Dr. Joy Gordon received the Alice B. Hayes Award for Advising and Mentoring. This award recognizes faculty who demonstrate exceptional commitment to advising and mentoring students both inside and outside the classroom. Dr. Joseph Vukov received the St. Ignatius Loyola Award for Excellence in Teaching. This award honors a faculty member who exemplifies excellence in teaching, mentoring, global awareness, and the promotion of justice, always guided by cura personalis and the Jesuit mission.
