Chris Hasselmann's research and teaching interests are in the areas of international relations and comparative politics, with an emphasis on the European Union, and international economics. His most recent publications examine the effects of the financial crisis on public support for the EU, as well as the interaction between public attitudes and government policy stances in Germany and Ireland.
Dr. Hasselmann directs the European Studies Program.
